SHOOTIN’ w/ Asher Roth @ Clarkville in West Philly

CLARKVILLE @ 43rd & Baltimore Ave in West Philly

It’s been a while since we did an interview over here.

As many good things go, the opportunity presented itself organically and after some back and forth on IG, we decided to find a day in April to have a chat.

I was fortunate to get the green light from Clarkville @ 43rd and Baltimore. The pizza and beer are second to none. HIGHLY RECOMMEND paying a visit to Clarkville in West Philly.

In high school and college knew I was a huge fan of Asher’s. Put a lot of friends onto his music. As a teenage hip-hop head (who also loved writing raps), seeing him blow up and develop a fanbase right out of the Philly burbs while rapping about anything and everything was downright inspiring.

He was definitely one of a handful of people who’s success encouraged me to pursue what I wanted out of this life.

So without further adue…

SHOOTIN’

w/ Asher Roth

At the time of the interview, Asher was set to embark on a mini City Winery Tour throughout the U.S.

I was able to attend the Philly show with a couple friends and we enjoyed the sit down, hip hop and wine.

Totally unique format, unprecedented delivery, perfectly on par with one of hip-hop’s gems, Asher Roth.
